Duke Robillard Band

Imperial Garage
Niagra Falls, NY
June 12, 1981

soundboard with some noise and tape hiss ( STILL a GREAT show!!)

An early Duke Robillard show. On this bill, he was sandwiched between the headliner, Muddy Waters, and a local boy, John Mooney, who was living in upstate NY at the time. Duke plays a nice 70 minute set, very heavy on the blues. Nice sound- Duke's vocals are a little bit distorted, so, again, this is by no means a perfect tape by 2006 standards, but, boy, it's sure nice to hear a young Duke playing the hell out of the guitar!!

1) Instrumental ( title?)
2) Instrumental slow blues ( title?)
3) My Baby's Just As Sweet as an Apple on the Tree ( title?_
4) Tramp
5) Baby, Please Come Home

15) Glamour Girl

1Cool My Babe (encore)

Several of the titles are best guesses- feel free to correct

Frank Zappa
UIC Pavilion, Chicago, IL
Saturday, August 18, 1984

Audience 108. 40 min A-

1st Source : Master > Download > Soundforge > CDR > EAC > Flac with SBA > You

2nd Source: Sennheiser 421 > D5 > DAT ( Mr. Steve) Master > Download > Soundforge > CDR > EAC > Flac with SBA >You

Both Sources were seeded at Sharing The Groove (RIP) in 2004 by the original tapers.
They are both from the Masters. As source # 1 sounds better in all and was more complete, I've decided to use this one.
I didn't burn the original Flac + SHN files back then, as I got my DVD burner only last July 2005. Since then, every show gets burned onto DVD
in the original way, so that whenever there is a need for a re-seed, the original files would be available.
Because of that, I don't remember the taper for source # 1.
If you read this, please message me, so that I can give you credit for your recording !

1st source was a little slow ( less than 1%) , was adjusted !
2nd source was a little too fast (less than 1%) , so I had to adjust it to source # 1.

This is Chicago August 18th 1984 as complete as possible !!

Zoot Allures 09:34 ( first 1.14min 2nd source)
More Trouble Every Day 04:45
Penguin In Bondage 04:55
Hot Plate Heaven At The Green Hotel 05:14

He's So Gay 02:35
Bobby Brown 02:36
Keep It Greasy 03:25
Don't You Want A Man Like Me? 03:57
Carol You Fool 03:40
Chana In De Bushwop 03:49
Let's Move To Cleveland 14:15
Cosmik Debris 05:06 ( The Beginning Of Cosmik includes some loop jam for 30 secs)
Sharleena 07:30 ( 5.26 min to 6.33 min 2nd source)
Ride My Face To Chicago 05:07 ( World premiere)
Illinois Enema Bandit 08:31 ( Solo is on "Soup n' Old Clothes" beat [also from Illinois dec 11th 1980 Santa Monica show] )

In Sharleena about 10 secs are still missing at 5.26 min, as both sources must have changed their tape at the same time.
Source # 1 didn't record Illinois Enema Bandit, maybe he thought the show was over ?

Pink Floyd - Bowl de Luna

4. Home Again
5. The Great Gig in the Sky
6. Money
7. Us and Them
8. Any Colour You Like
9. Brain Damage

3. Echoes
4. A Saucerful of Secrets
5. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun

Bowl de Luna Rev.A (May 2001)
=============================
The rev.A release is from a different source than the rev.0 release. Instead of speed correcting our previous version, I have received a new version that I believe is better than the masters that I used before.

Here are the differences between this rev A release and the original version of Bowl De Luna:
Foremost is the change in speed. The original ran somewhat fast. The difference can be seen in the track timings:

BdL disc 1
rev0 revA
01 Breathe 2:37 2:42
02 The Travel Sequence 4:30 4:33
03 Time 5:29 5:46
04 Home Again 1:00 1:02
05 The Great gig in the Sky 4:18 4:26
06 Money 5:59 6:13
07 Us and Them 7:19 7:33
08 Any Colour You Like 4:27 4:35
09 Brain Damage 3:40 3:47
10 Eclipse 1:45 1:51
----- -----
41:09 42:32

BdL disc 2
rev0 revA
01 One of These Days 8:40 8:58
02 Careful With that Axe, Eugene 11:05 11:39
03 Echoes 24:59 25:39
04 A Saucerful of Secrets 14:31 15:01
05 Set the Controls... 12:27 12:57
----- -----
71:43 74:16

A little math shows about a 3.5% increase in run time. Also note that StCftHotS has been moved to its proper position in the setlist: the encore. The original disc 2 track order of OoTD, CWtAE, StCftHotS, Echoes, ASoS was erroneous.

This was discussed a while back. ASoS is the final song of the 2nd set (with the big fireworks display), and StC is the encore. The songs are in this order on the master tape, and StC WAS played as an encore for several shows around this period. All the "experts" agree that rev A does indeed have the correct running order.

For those nit-pickers like me that own a copy of the original release and are concerned about the numerous (snap, crackle, pop, fizz, fizz) undesirable noises in this recording, let me say this...

The majority of the glitches in the original are not of digital origin and therefore still exist in rev A. For example, that series of thumps at the very beginning of Echoes are still there. Those sounds are not digital in nature and are unfixable.

Normally, I update the database section with glitch information for each release. Let me say that for BdL rev A, there are no digital glitches per se. I will not be creating a list for the static and feedback and other analog stuff (too much work fo something so meaningless).

А это - ну 5+ каччества концертник Alice Cooper. Не упустите!

TITLE: When Nightmares Turn Into Dreams (released 1990)
COUNTRY: Germany
FORMAT: CD
CATALOG NUMBER: Oh Boy 1-9071, AC-061775
NOTES: Recorded Live at the Los Angeles Forum, June 17, 1975 (from “King Biscuit Flower Hour” broadcast). Outstanding soundboard recording from the “Welcome to My Nightmare” tour, when Cooper debuted his new band.

1 Welcome to My Nightmare
2 No More Mr. Nice Guy
3 Billion Dollar Babies
4 I’m Eighteen
5 Some Folks
6 Cold Ethyl
7 Devil’s Food & The Black Widow
8 Steven
9 Welcome to My Nightmare reprise & Escape
10 School’s Out
11 Department of Youth

I'm told that the show included “Only Women Bleed,” but it's not on this boot. I'm not sure whether the bootlegger omitted it or if it was never broadcast. The interlude between some of the songs is titled “Years Ago.”

King Crimson
Central Park, NYC
June 25, 1973

Lineage: 16mm Film --> DVD --> You
Direct transfer, professionally done with no editing, colour correction, etc.
What you see is what the film actually looks like.

The setlist is short but super-sweet:

Easy Money-->
Improv

This snippet has circulated among Crimso collectors for years, but never in this quality.
I got it from a friend who owns the actual film. Following many years of me pestering him,
he finally got around to getting the transfer done. I believe he will be listing
the actual film on ebay in the near future, if anyone is so inclined to try to track
it down for their own archive. I realize that putting this "out there" exposes a risk
of someone trying to sell it, but this is too cool to keep under wraps.
Please share this freely and circulate it as much as possible in the hopes that perhaps
the forces of evil will be thwarted. We can only hope that this might inspire the powers
that be to commercially release the entire show. Snippets of the Larks' Tongues I
from this show were used for the 1973 television promo for the album's initial realease,
so one could assume (albeit a fantasy) that the entire set was filmed and is in the
can somewhere. Many thanks to all who stay on to help seed....I am going out of town
for the weekend, but this should be completed many times over before my departure.

The more generous you are with your music, the more it comes back to you.

( это наподобие того двд 10уа, который тут кое-кому я скопировал... )
